Route 1
Continuing The Studio series into Season 2
The analog goal is to evolve the series into a Craft in America style show promoting the UrbanGlass community, glassmaking, stop motion animations and New York City. The happenings in Brooklyn over the past 25 years is historical. It’s like the French Quarter in the early 20th century in that it’s the Mecca for so many artists, storytellers, and designers. People pine to be in NYC and specifically Brooklyn because its where the action continues to flourish. UrbanGlass is unlike any other facility in the world because it’s a true working studio of world class artists but also a well respected educational institution. The eclectic artists have a breadth of styles and an unmatched client base. Tis quite a cast of characters!
Season 2: Live X Bil.Co Episodic Show
Episodes from S1 will be expanded/reconfigured, showing full process from drawing board to fabrication with clips of animations spliced in. Each episode will start by meeting the artist(s) and discussing the inspiration behind their work, how they go about brainstorming it and then head into the studio where we’ll witness the live fabrication of the work. The process will be edited down concisely with brief highlights of animations edited in as we transition to the stop motion studio. Then we offer behind the scenes footage of that process, how we stage the set and go about making the videos. This will all culminate in a stop motion animation of the glass process featured in the episode. With two crafts featured, the show has the potential to resonate with a wide demographic appealing to kids of all ages from 6 to 60 interested in seeing how both the glass designs and the animations are made.
With 50 episodes in the original season, we have an abundance of material to expand on for successive seasons. Or we may expand into new realms, like taking the show on the road to other glass studios in the U.S. so we can shine a spotlight on their community, work and processes. From there, the sky is the limit.

Route 2
The Studio:
Back in the Daze
As we proceed with Route 1 of our Road Map, we’ll also be formulating a Route 2 with the digital goal of developing more ways for people to join our community via additional digital artwork releases. With each release, we’ll introduce a new character (giving owners similar exclusive packages, privileges and access). The first will be a Bil.Co Bot born out of The Studio series with add'l characters to follow. These characters already have some intriguing explorations around them but for now...we are keeping that on the DL.
